A reference architecture.
Not a point solution.
Planck Red's Disaster Recovery architecture ensures operational resilience against cyber attacks, natural disasters, and system failures. It is a distributed, multi-site architecture that combines modular edge infrastructure, automated failover orchestration, hardware-level breach containment, and immutable backup storage — turning business continuity from a plan into a permanent operational posture.
How the layerscompose into a system.
Each layer is independently deployable and interoperates through Quanta Cloud orchestration. Together they form a complete, production-ready architecture — not a collection of disconnected products.
Q5 nodes deployed at geographically separated DR sites. Q10 powers the primary mission-critical execution layer. Physical separation ensures a natural disaster at one site does not impact the other.
FireBreak provides instant hardware-level isolation when a breach is detected — stopping ransomware and lateral movement before it reaches DR sites. SwissVault stores immutable backups that cannot be encrypted or deleted by attackers.
Quanta Cloud monitors the entire estate and executes automated failover when thresholds are breached — cutting recovery time from hours to minutes through pre-configured runbooks and policy-driven orchestration.
Planck Red solutions are not assembled from off-the-shelf parts. Each layer is purpose-built and pre-integrated — reducing deployment complexity and eliminating the integration risk that breaks most enterprise infrastructure projects.
Deploy the full stack, or start with a single layer and extend. Quanta Cloud ensures all components remain orchestrated and visible regardless of how many layers are active.
FireBreak, SwissVault, and vSense AI are embedded at the architecture level — not bolted on. They participate in the orchestration fabric and are managed through Quanta Cloud alongside infrastructure components.
Measurable outcomes,not architectural promises.
Reduced RTO & RPO
Automated failover and pre-positioned workloads cut recovery time objectives from hours to minutes for mission-critical systems.
Cyber-Resilient by Design
FireBreak containment means a breach at the primary site cannot propagate to DR infrastructure — keeping recovery clean and trustworthy.
Regulatory Compliance
Immutable SwissVault backups satisfy regulatory requirements for data retention, audit trails, and tamper-proof archives.
Enterprise Resilience Assurance
Board-level confidence in business continuity — with demonstrable RPO/RTO metrics, tested runbooks, and always-ready DR posture.
